Transformation Day 3: I get it!

Monday, December 7th, 2009

“I get it!” Have you ever said that?

Sometimes what we ‘get’ is a small thing—sometimes its’ life changing and enormous….either way it qualifies as a transformation!
It’s interesting when I look back at my life, the biggest I get it/transformations came when they were least expected. But they all arrived as a result of a change in my life. Some of the changes were intended – others a result of circumstance.
IN all the penny dropped – and I was never the same. I had transformed!

Change can be difficult we move out of our comfort zones, out of the familiar and into —the unknown.

IN that place everything changes and it’s exactly what we need to take us where we need to go! It is the catalyst to spur our minds and hearts to novel, unusual and innovative places…it holds within the greatest of opportunities!

To be the most successful we can be… we must be willing to be taken off the beaten path and transform.  The greatest opportunities are often presented within these detours.  As one door closes another opens…finding the door…means uncovering the next big opportunity.

“When one door closes, another opens: but we often look so long and regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the ones that are open to us.”Alexander Graham Bell

The next time you hear yourself saying, “I get it!” know a transformation is underway!

Transformation Day 2: Ink It!

Thursday, December 3rd, 2009

Have you thought about what you would like to achieve in 2010?

Transform your ideas into actions…your dreams into realities by writing them down. Look at your life from the Personal, Professional and Physical perspectives and set goals for each area.

Physical may be to run 10K. Professional may be to volunteer to chair a committee or project and Personal may be to go out for a date with your spouse once each month.

Once you have determined your goals, then you can outline an action plan to allow you to achieve each.
For example, your 10K action plan may involve signing up for a run in your community and joining a running group.

Whatever your goals may be, write them down – don’t just think it…ink it!!
