Hope to North Vancouver 150km + Boat Ride

  • YES thats right - 150km ride with a 10min boat cruise in there so we can enjoy more scenic back roads and maximum the amount of fun . . . care of Tymac Launch Service Ltd.
  • Depart Hope 7.30am - Arrive North Vancouver LSCR (Lillooet Rd) approx 2pm
  • Route: Hope to Belcarra, Hwy 7 to Mission and then back roads from Mission - load into Tymac Water Taxi boats at Belcarra Park Pier for a 10min cruise over to Cates Park on the North Shore, ride Cates Park to Demo Forest for the Finish
  • Riding Levels: 3 groups - intermediate (25km/hr pace) and advanced (30km/hr pace)
  • Registration $30 and $150 fundraising goal

* This is a group ride. There will be a lead out support vehicle for each group with lead riders that know the route. This is not a race. If you choose to ride faster then the group, then you are on your own with safety and route directions. Please sign up for the group that you are capable of to make sure you make the boat shuttle to the North Shore. If you are unsure or worried, then sign up for the 50km event

 


Get the Bus to Hope for $40 includes your bike


* Bus leaves from Capilano University at 5am to arrive in Hope for 7am for a 7.30am departure. This is down the road from the finish line so you will have your car when you finish in Lower Seymour Demo Forest on Lillooet Road.


Maple Ridge to North Vancouver 50km + Boat Ride

  • Start: 11.30am Start (TBC) Websters Corners Elementary School, 25554 Dewdney Trunk Road, Maple Ridge
  • Finish: North Vancouver, Demo Forest, Lillooet Road
  • Route: Websters Corners to Belcarra (back roads) - load into Tymac Water Taxi Boats - boat from Belcarra to Cates Park (10mins), ride Cates Park to Demo Forest for Finish
  • Riding Levels: 1 group - intermediate (20 - 25km/hr pace)
  • This is a group ride with a support vehicle and Cyclebetes Leader Rider that knows the route
  • Registration $30 and $150 fundraising goal

North Vancouver Family Festival

  • Rice Lake Gates, Demo Forest, Lillooet Rd
  • 1pm to 4pm
  • 5km Kids Scavenger Hunt Ride
  • 10km - 20km Family and Novice Ride
  • Route on the paved demo forest road (closed to all vehicles) - scenic gorgeous route
  • Afternoon festivities: kids obstacle course and bike skills tips (thanks to ESC Bike Camps), entertainment, food, music and fun
  • Registration $30 and $150 fundraising goal
  • Kids 12 and under register for free and fundraise what ever you can for JDRF
  • Can't or don't ride, just come along to join in the fun and BBQ and cheer on the other riders
